This last trip to California was filled with family and photo sessions! My cousin Jonathan and his wife Jessica were visiting Ventura from Northern California while I was there. I got the opportunity to take some pictures of them at the beach and I am so happy with how they turned out!

Jonathan and Jessica are incredibly talented videographers/photographers at Hugo Film Co. When I first decided to turn my hobby into a business they came alongside me. They helped with all of the behind the scenes work and cheered me on every step of the way. I would not be where I am today if it were not for them! I love that I can now give a little something back to show my gratitude!

This amazing couple came to Ventura for our Grandma’s birthday and to introduce her to their second daughter Liv. She is named after our grandma, but that is also my middle name so I am biased about how cute it is! Durning this shoot Liv went to hang out with my sister and their older daughter Rachel got to come play on the beach with us. She did so well playing with the sand and the weather was perfect!

We only had about 20 minutes to get this session in so that they could get back to the baby. Even with a short time frame we got so much variety into this session! Some quick location changes and differing poses allows for a diverse gallery and a well rounded shoot. I am so thankful I got some time with them and that we were able to fit this in! I cant wait to do more beach sessions in the future!!
