This family session at Coal Creek Farm in Jenks was unique and so much fun! Lydia and Ryan got married a few months ago but they did not have a photographer at their wedding. Their sister Tara decided to gift them a family session and a just married session so that they could have pictures all together to celebrate. I think that is the sweetest gift!!

Family Session

We started off with the family session. It was Tara, her husband and daughter, Lydia and Ryan and their parents. Tara’s daughter was so sweet and did an amazing job being in so many pictures! Coal Creek Farm Jenks has some amazing fields and large tress that made these pictures look dreamy! Tara and her family were all very relaxed and incredibly sweet. I loved the time I got so spend with them. Her parents love for their grand daughter is evident in the way they look at her!

Just Married Session

After we finished with the family session, Lydia and Ryan hung back with me so that we could take some just married pictures. Taking pictures for Lydia was extra special for me. Not only is she my neighbors sister, she was also the midwife who was there for the birth of my niece. We got to spend many hours that night getting to know each other and I love that I now got to be her photographer!

My favorite thing about this session was that they were totally down to be adventurous with me! They even went into the water down at the creek! I love when couples are relaxed and completely themselves. I feel like that was how Ryan and Lydia were. They chose clothes that were their style, they laughed and interacted genuinely and they were willing to have fun.
