While in California I got the pleasure of taking pictures for my dear friends Kelli and Nathan York at Corganville Park. They have the most adorable son Lincoln who is also good friends with my kids. When Matt and I lived in California we were apart of a married couples life group through our church. Kelli and Nathan were apart of that amazing group as well and our friendship grew from doing fellowship together.

It is such an incredible thing to have friends to walk through life with. We miss that group dearly and we are beyond thankful for all of the years we all got to meet together in person weekly. They have walked with us through some of our most incredible moments in life as well as hold our hands through some of the hardest. I love that I got the chance to get some extra one on one time with them and capture some family pictures.

I was really hoping we would get some good sunset pictures but the sun decided to hide from us that day. It actually turned out to be a blessing though! We were able to get some amazing pictures with the mountains behind them. I love Oklahoma but man I miss mountains! This park is gorgeous with so many different settings. There were trees, open areas, flowers, mountains, and great trails. It is definitely my go to session location in Simi Valley.

It is always bittersweet when we go visit everyone in California. We cherish every minute we get to see them but saying good bye is always so hard! I wish we could just take them all with us to Oklahoma. We can’t wait until we get to see them all again next year! Here are a few of my favorites from this amazing session at Corganville Park.
