There are certain sessions that are overall just fun. This was one of those times! From the moment they got out of the car the kids just went off and played. They weren’t shy in front of the camera at all and they found something fun to do at every location. Kelsey, their mom, jumped right in and played along with them! They threw rocks in the lake, played in the leaves, walked around the fire pit and climbed up on fallen trees.

I love capturing those candid moments! That is what you want to remember when you look back on their childhood. You will think of them playing games and being creative out in nature. We of course also got some cute smiling photos of them.

They were so loving and sweet together that they didn’t even need much prompting to hug or stand together. Catching those interactions between siblings is one of my favorite things. I love seeing how they interact, play and problem solve together. These two you could tell, truly love to be together.

Every session is unique and every child is different. Some need time to warm and others play and forget you are even there. No matter what, there are always great pictures in the end! I loved getting to spend time with this family and it was an honor to take their family pictures.
