Samantha and Charlie decided on having an intimate Claremore wedding in their parents backyard. It was sweet, fun, and full of joy. Their family and friends all came together to love and support them on their big day! It was a beautiful ceremony overlooking a pond, blending their two families together.
The day started with them getting ready in the house. Samantha had her mom, mother-in-law, grandma and daughter in the room with her. Her daughter was the one to have the honor of helping Samantha tie her dress. This allowed the two of them to have an intimate moment together before the ceremony, and gave her daughter a special role that day.
The ceremony began with their children walking down the aisle with their grandparents, followed by Samantha and Charlie hand in hand. One of my favorite moments was when Samantha and Charlie invited all of their children to the altar. It was a beautiful representation of two families joining together! During the ceremony they also did something unique and fun, they branded a cow hide with their own family design! This can now be displayed in their home forever. It represents a constant reminder of the promises they made to each other!
Samantha and Charlie were such a fun couple to work with! They wanted to do some “tacky” pictures along with the formal ones, so they pulled out the shotguns and beer. We rotated between loving romantic shots and doing the captain morgan pose on a log! I love when couples make their wedding reflect who they truly are. This is your day to celebrate and you might as well make it fun! So whether it be an intimate Claremore wedding, or a black tie affair, always add a little bit of fun to it!
